Full or partial restorations.

If you are looking to have your car MOT tested we recommend A.T. Motors in Seaham (Tel 0191 581 3182). We recommend all cars have an annual MOT test regardless of whether or not they are exempt - remember, it's your responsibility to make sure your car is road legal and we can't think of a better way than an annual MOT check and service.

Currently we are booking into 2027 for larger restorations. Smaller jobs are into 2026.

Sorry but please don't ask us to fit your car in between jobs, we aren't willing to let down customers who have waited patiently. 

From April 2025 our labour rates are increasing to £60 per hour plus VAT (£72 inclusive) due to ongoing increases in costs of consumables, insurance, services and wages.

Unfortunately it's nigh on impossible to give an estimate of restoration costs because we never know what is under the skin until we start taking bits off. Most full restorations take hundreds of hours so you will be looking at quite a large outlay. Smaller jobs can be given an estimate on the proviso that if anything else crops up whilst doing the work, it is chargeable - we will contact you prior to doing any extra work.

We bill monthly so you are in control of what you spend, if you've reached your limit, we stop. Only work that is necessary is carried out, and whilst we don't rush the work we don't deliberately take our time either.
